        |     PRIEST’s MESSAGEs   WELCOME!   On
behalf of the Parish President, the members of the Parish Council and the
entire community, I would like to welcome you all to the Annual Greek
Festival of our St Nectarios Church in Covina. We give you the
opportunity to participate and share with us the culture and heritage
which we as Greeks have received and share with you all to perpetuate
        from generation to generation.   The
members of our parish have worked hard to prepare the delicious
traditional authentic Greek foods and pastries. Don’t hesitate to taste
and enjoy them. Let your imagination journey to that small country of
great heroes, philosophers and literary writers-Greece. Enjoy the
sounds of the Greek music that has spread all over the world, bringing
the message of joy, optimistic hope, passion and love.    Visit
our beautiful Byzantine style Church, through our church tours and
discover the theology of the icons, see the books filled with Byzantine
music and hear the church hymns and psalms. I personally, or one of my
helpers, look forward to explaining and sharing the beauty of our
        Orthodox Faith with you.    We
are hopeful that we will achieve the goal of our Festival, to bring you
good entertainment, progress in life and faith, and spiritual
        understanding.   With
